Snoring Hound Studio
In 1992, Snoring Hound started as an upstairs recording space over the 'master' bedroom in an old farm house on the property. As you can imagine, the noise was an issue, so, to the old rebuilt cabin out back in the field. Small, but functional. In 2002, after a bout with cancer, Dave got brave and set about building the current home of Snoring Hound Studios. The thirty-two by forty foot production facility was self-built from the ground up over the winter of 2002-2003. With the 22 by 32 ft main recording room, with a 16ft cathedral ceiling, there is enough room to record a live band, chorus, string ensemble, drum circle or whatever needs to be in one room to 'make it happen'. And, at 18 by 24, the control room is open and comfortable.
